Colleagues from Moosonee and Moose Factory Island have developed a Critical Incident Traumatic Events protocol.

 

Of special note is the partnership SSL Cluster # 14 has established with the Ontario Physical and Health Education Association (Ophea  www.ophea.net).   Ophea "exists to support schools and communities through quality program supports, partnerships and advocacy to enable children and youth to lead healthy active lives."  Ophea has been engaged to provide a series of workshops across our Cluster with specific reference to the relationship of C/Y Mental Health and Healthy Active Living.  Tentative dates are May 1st - Kapuskasing; May 2nd - Englehart; May 3rd - Timmins; and, May 4th Moosonee.  More info to follow ... please check your in-basket and web portal!
